We are looking
for a Cisco Advanced Services - Business development Manager responsible for
KSA (Red badge) :
The BDM will work
closely with Theatre teams, product and services sales teams, Architecture, and
Partners teams to provide:
- Translation of Customer Requirements into Cisco
Services Offerings
- Technical Pre-Sales support for the Services
Portfolio (Plan, Design, Implement, Operate & Managed Services)
- Responses to RFIs, RFPs, and requests for proposals
• Portfolio management
- Services Proposal Development
- Pre-sales Collateral development
- RFP Defence decks / response material o Wins /
Case Studies
- SOW & Contract Creation
- RFP defence
- Field enablement by defining processes for
Theatres
- Advanced Services business management
- Provide Pipeline Visibility
- Services Scoping Questionnaire
- Effort Estimation, Costing & Pricing
(Discounts, Margins etc)
- Services Marketing
- Drives creation and positioning of Cisco Services
to top customer-led accounts with the objective to increase the
penetration of Cisco Branded Services
- Sales support & engagement for complex
“manage” opportunities based on Cisco’s software- enabled services
- Aligned to service sales organisation and
collaborate closely with field (AMs, CSMs, SSMs, CDMs, etc.)
- Subject Matter Expert for Cisco’s
software-enabled service capabilities & support model design
- Strong sales-like engagement reporting (weekly,
pipeline, results)
SKILLS &
EXPERIENCE
- Strong communicator who is used to achieving results in a highly matrixed organization
- Demonstrated ability to influence through Applied Knowledge Leadership
- Dynamic self starter who regularly overachieves targets for assigned business area
- Capable of driving and orchestrating highly complex deals that may leverage multiple services and technologies in order to achieve the customers’ business objectives
- Proven track record in analyzing operating models and identifying insertion opportunities for Services
- Is capable of initiating and running C"x"O and senior management level meetings independently.
- Typically requires BS/BA degree or equivalent plus 12+ years of Relevant IT Industry Experience
- ITIL v3 foundation certified or strong IT operations background
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills. Ability to build relationships with peers and higher level management.
- MBA is preferred, but not mandatory
The BDM juggles
multiple tasks and interfaces with numerous cross-functional teams to influence
and promote Services. This is an opportunity to work with an array of

Motivation, creativity and a determination to reach goals and objectives with
minimal management intervention and control is a must. Candidate needs to
demonstrate ability to work independently within a central team.
